Well its a very buzy day 4 m3 =P ... no kidding .. i am supposed to meet 5 grps of people today ! My cell group, my current S53 class mates, my 1st 3 months ex-S53 classmates, a little friend of mine from sec sch ... and Yihui's friends. O_o. Ha very buzy la .. Have 2 help yihui pass hsi tickets to his 11 friends and collect money from them.
At the start, i only met with my cell members. We were eating at macdonald ... and soon found out that time is running out [ only 15 mins to get there.] ANd yaaa haha yihui's friend keep calling me to ask me where am i : ... so we rushed down to the theatre and i started looking for yihui's friend. Well i met 8 out of his 11 friends and got to pass them the tix :) ... Den went up to watch the show.
The show was awesome! We were sittign right at the back and i couldn't really see my friends : Dawn, Vivian , and Niger on the stage. There were quite alot of comtemplory dance. What can u expect there? Chair Dance :) dancing around a chair or shld i put it .. around the stool :). What else ? erm ... ya got a chinese kunfu guy in the middle of the dance .. haha .. den he was playing around with a sword .. while the dancers spin and turn and did alot of nice synchronised movements. There is also an Indian dance, and of course malay dance as well. Last but not least ... the have Break Dance !!! haa very eye-boggling dance as the dancers do L-kicks .. windmills and chopsticks dance move. Well as we all know, break dance are quite popular among teens and young adults. It is liek an open program source -code which can be edited, revamped, or altered to various cool steps and stunts.
Later during the 15 mins break, i went down to look for my 53 and ex-53 friends. Very cool to see back my ex-S53 friends :) Its been so long and all of us are in different JC's now.Really happy that they still come to support de dance performance .. and see us as well ! We chatted for a while and later, i decided to stay with them in the front .. haa cos atthe back i cant see much :(. And so wow ... i got a better view .. and i can see Dawn, Vivian, Yihui and Niger Dancing very clearly now !!!. Unfortunately, i have to sit on the floor nxt to them .. since there are no empty chairs available for me :/.
NExt part of performance is quite cool as well. The teachers joined in the fun with their "i'm gonna praise you" dance. THe NUS dance team also put up a fairly wild, but cool contemplory dance. Last but not least, the SAJC dance alumni also put up their very own dance item .. which is also kinda cool. Well the performance this yr is equally good as last yr's dance performance. Everything was kinda smooth and b4 i noe it ... the show ended :( sighz .. no more shaking of buttz .. waving of hands, para- para actions ... haa tat's all folks.
Nah not all yet ... later i ran up and gave yihui a sunflower ... a token of appreciation from our Cell group :). Soon the stage was open to the audience .. and all of us went up to meet our dear, tired .. but gay [happy] friends :) I can see from their eyes their excitement .. probably to know that their friends and their best of best buddies are supporting them. Probably also .. of relief that finally, they can take a break from their hectic schedule of dance practises .. and officially take rest .. to prepare for A's. I am very please to see all of them smiling .. grinning =D and their buzzle of happiness.
haha not yet not yet finish .... We went to eat supper at Newton-market hawker centre. I ordered carrot cake ... and all of us start feasting and talking crap all night long. Alex bought oyster egg .... which taste much better than mine carrot cake :( . Haa initially, i wanted to buy satays .... but due to the amazing price of each stick ... and each bundle, i din buy that le. Haiz very tired now ... [--]' .... ya ok we took a photo using camera cell phones in me and den ... we or wen home thru mrt and buses . Very late le ... i finally have to take a cab home since i cant find a near bus that brings me back to chinatown. OK my eyes are falling apart.
