Ok Here is the real thing :

W143 cum cum cum W281 simple movie outing.

Turns out to be a W143 outing with a guest from W281. There are all in all 7 of us together. Turtle was the guest. I just have to say a thousand apologies to everyone. Everythign was a flop. Attendance was poor because of poor communication. What's worst is that i did not buy the tickets in time. I admit i was too complacent. Too idiotic to notice that cinemas in the weekdays can be equally crowded as well. An originally planned 7 pm show had to be postponed to a 10pm show. End up only 5 of us can watch this show cos the other timings either have no vacencies .. or only have 1st row seats. I feel horrible.

Well actually , i met Kevin and Chong for Lan, cos they are gonna teach me a game. And in the end we got bogged down and left late. Have to call Ken to buy tix for us ... and what's more.. we got the wrong tix ... they gave us a 10 pm show instead of 7pm. Then we found out there is no more seats for 7 pm and only 1st row sears for 7.40 pm. Sigh the more i talk/think/type about this ... the more guilty and heart-achei feel. GRRRR U R AN IDIOT JASON !!!!!!!!!!!!!@#!@#!@#$

Anyway, we went to Long John to have our dinner. We chatter a long while before we played guess the item game. Then "mom" tried to crack a joke, but i guess only the houseflies laugh. haha oops. sorry mom! :P Later "mom" left for home. Yup she's one of the two that didn't get to join us for the movie. haiz.

Out of boredom, we played 7-up, location game, Black Magic, bang bang bang, the whisper game, the clock game ... you can see that we are very bored. Then turtle left ... and so the 5 of us march to the cinemas to watch this well-anticipated movie of the ... month.

Of all the 3 movies i watched this month : Ocean 12, Meet the Fockers and this [Kung Fu Hustle]. The most horrible was this. This show has a rubbish story line. The introduction shows of an emerging gang that reigns terror around .. called the Axe gang. One day axe gang visit pig city. There are some ancient kung fu warriors there. Axe gang's butt got kicked. So Axe gang hired 2 mysterious kung fu fighter .. who killed the 3 ancient kung fu warriors. But this 2 baddies did not know that there are another 2 ancient warrior that lives there. So the mysterious's warrior's butt got kicked. So this goes on .. Good kick bad's butts .. bad kicks good's butt and eventually ... like always .. good kicks bad's butt. The ending was so lame that i can't bring myself to type it. The show sends alot of mixed signals.

So let's see
1) Lame plot
2) Inproper, short and stupid character introduction and development
3) Not sure if it's a comedy. Can see heads row. Cats being cut into half. Legs chop off. Pool of blood from a room gushing down. Romance part was unromantic at all. Only minimal success in humour. In other words .. unsteady storyline. lots of mixed signals. Leave me with an uneasy feeling
4) Only + point : Good special effects and butt - kicking moves.

This show resembles alot from Matrix.
1) There is so called "The one" in this movie. Just like Neo - "The One" in matrix
2)When the army of bad guys swarm around the 3 ancient warriors. ITs like an army of Agent smith around Neo
3) The hero can fly. Sort of. Just like Neo
4) The is a chase ... but instead of the car chase in Matrix reloaded ... there is a human chase .... the 2 person runs on the road like speeding cars. Very nicely exaggerated.

Well maybe there are more that u can find, Probably Kung Fu Hustle is a parody of Matrix. Well this show in my opinion is CMI -big time.

The show ends at around 12. I missed my last bus. The rest took taxi home. I suddenly realise that i have no money in my wallet. I ended up walking home. I was kind of lost at the start ... and Plaza Sing. to my house at Chinatown isn't actually very far. So i walk and walk .. and to my happiness ... i came to Raffles city ... =). I know that place. Then i met this lady.

Omg. This is the first time i meet such kind of person. She was not pretty .. let me clarify in the first place. She's very dark in colour. And she's staring at me for no reason. I wanted to ask abit more so as to further calrify my location. Unknowingly, i blurted a "hi " to her. She smiled and asked me where i was from. I said Singapore. She asked me how old am i. I said 18. Then she asked me if i am going Army. I told her .. ya enlisting soon. Then she said u wanna ..... !?
I was like , " huh ? wad did u say? "

Then she touched me .... and said " well u know .... " i said ... " sorry thx ...[but no thx]" and walked away. I cant really believe who i've met. Well i don't what in the world she's doing there late at night. But i am definitely nto joining her in whatever she's doing. It was frankly speaking .. quite traumatising to meet such a lady.

After 45 minutes of walk .. i finally reach home. I din get lost at all. Praise the lord. =) I really think today is a weird day. Sad, tired, traumatising and weird. I am really stressed out ...~~!
Well i've honestly be neglecting my blog. Not a good thing. At least i must do some bit of justice to this little web-haven.

*Lets take a ride in the time machine*
Haa - time to recap what i've gone thru the past few days and weeks .... Not that it's fun to recap .. but its good to shelve my thoughts somewhere .. at least in a place which you can look back and admire.

Jason's X'mas Day Special
Lol ... so backdated. X'mas was my favourite - time .... season .. whatever u call it ... - time of the year. Since its so long ago ... and its kinda late ... i'll chop/cut everything short.

Woke up in the morning ... hey ... i was still await at 1 am. Still playing MMORPG game. I woke up at around 8 and rush down to Kallang MRT to meet Nurul and Shu Xian ... whom are Aaron's friends. I'm bringing them to my church Service ! Guess what? i've not met them b4 ... and neither have they. I consider me myself a brave guy .. haha and of course they are not bad either ... not that i encourage girls to meet strangers ... and oops going off topic ....

Well, we make a slow walk there ... which i actually wanted to make *that walking thing* faster cos we are running late ... but then i cant be rude to them ... so i sort of tried in a lame attempt to quicken *our* pace! Indeed, that morning walk have helped me derive a cool conclusion. Girls are nice strollers.

Well, i was again shock -just like the night b4-. The security guards have let in the crowd early into the auditorium and the place was jam-packed as usual. It was like 10.15 am and almost 75% of the SIS was packed. Thank God i my cell members reserved 3 seats for 3 of us.

*fast-forward*

We took some pictures with the reindeer-man and Santa Claus. Sang X'mas hymns and a City Harvest Church worship song. Then we watch an interesting and very cool break dance performance by our Church Dance team. Followed by our X'mas drama. Story about a little samaritan orphan who was adopted by this not-so-kind adopter. He was illy treated and felt that life has no meaning .. or like what he said .. "life must be more than this ..... " He never realised that all his life .. he's manager that he's been sleeping and keeping it clean has a very important purpose ... that is to prepare a room for the birth of the King of kings. Quite a nice drama. Ps Kong preached ... and an altar call was given.

So service was like that.... Our church like to sing this song .... "Feliz Navidad ... Feliz Navidad ... dum dum dum prospero ano y felicida .. ! " haa. A very nice Christmas carol.

Had lunch at home. Play com games. Then met yijie, Jason Chong, Jian ye and kevin for dinner, movie - Meet the Fockers[nice comedy movie!] and then to a musical performace at Esplanade. I love that place. Its just nice there. It gives me the sense of flying ... haha .. when i am there. Maybe its the sea-side atmosphere ... that is so liberating to me.

We had Supper at Lau Pa Sat and that's all for the .. day!

Christmas .... has finally arrived. On this very faithful cold morning as i type ... Jingle bells!

Carols, Carollers, Musicin the house, Music on the street .. Sounds of the sweet vocals ... Silver bells~!

Musicals, Church Celebrations, Fellowshipping of the Saints, praying and thanksgiving ... Adeste Fideles ~!

Well wishes, greeting cards, Christmas Sales flyers, Colourful gifts .... simply Feliz Navidad

Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful ... and since we've no place to gooo Let is snow ... let is snow .. Let it snow~!

Christmas my favourtie time .... my favourite season has come so fast. During the A levels period ... i was still dreaming of Christmas and all its splendor. Christmas .... has undoubtly different effects on each and single one of us. Well probably some might feel no nothint at all. But one cannot simply ignore the beautiful Christmas decos put up on the streets and in practically every shopping mall in Singapore. And of course the big fat Santa roaming around the city, catchign kids and putting a smile onto each of them. Some feel for the presents. Thefun and joy of receiving gifts from your loved ones ... The unexpectancy and eagerness to see what inside .. the joy of reaping what we desire ... that is from others and maybe sometimes from ourselves =)
Getting greetings ... cards .. sms-es .. or even that simple Merry Christmas & a happy new year from our friends and neighbours ... & the list go on.

I love Christmas not just because of this commotion ... i love it because it revolves all around this principle of giving. As we give ... we receive as well. We give presents, we reap happiness in our hearts. Christ has no doubt introduce this simple basic principle to us 2000 yrs ago. I really thank God for all that. Well .. i have to go le. Hope everyone will spend their 24 hours Special day wisely. Till next time ...

Merry Christmas Everyone !

Wednesday, December 22, 2004

I watched Ocean 12 today. Haa this is a pretty cool show .... a very twisted plotty show. We got the bottom left hand seats which makes the viewing very horrible. In other words ****. lol fill in the blanks.

Well the show is kinda good and unless u r familair with the previous movie ... Ocean 11 .. you better team up with others to watch this show cos ... its only at the end of the show ... probably after some discussion ... then you'll get what the show is driving at. A simple objective complicated by the twisty plot. Anyway X'mas is coming. Santa's watching. Gotta be a good boy!
Dying is not a very nice word in the presence of this jolly season. But ... this blog sure is worth taking note for blog readers about a short account of a cancer patient :
http://dyingis.blogspot.com/

God bless her =)
Go take a look.

Day of Fun.

Main Game played : Shi Zhi Lu Kou (Chinese Eating Game)
Game instructions & objective:

Firstly, the name of the first dish will be given. Let say Ji Fan [Chinese pronounciation of Chicken rice]. Teams have to raise around the neighbourhood to search for this chicken rice dish. Buy it and eat it. Then, they have to continue to buy another dish by using the last word "fan" as the first word of the next dish. Eg: 1st dish - Ji Fan. 2nd dish - Fan Chai. and so on and so for. Teams must eat 4 dish in total before they can get to know what's their final dish. So after finishing 4 dishes, they have to call the "angels or Tian Shi" or the gamemasters and report to them to get their clue to the last dish. Before they get to know what's their last dish, they would be given 3 cateogries of questions in which they must choose one to answer. If they answer rightly they can get their clue for the last dish. If not they would have to do a forfeit before we finish our last dish. In addition, teams must eat another 2 dish before they can end off with the last dish.

Well we started off with 3 teams. Jaryl, Jun Kai, Karista and Emily - Team A. Seng Huat, Chua and Pei fen - Team. John, Kenneathe and Wan Yi - Team C. The first clue was : Rou ku cha (chinese). In hokkien : Bak Kut Teh. Its basically a meat -based soup. The teams raise around Toa Payoh to find this first dish and their subsequent dishes. In the meantime, Janet and I .. the gamemasters aka Xiao Tian Shi went aroudn to get gifts. We bought some gifts at Watson before the teams arrive. Well to cut in short, all 3 teams answered the question rightly and got their final dish with ease. The final dish was "Cha You Tiao" which is something a chinese fried dough stick.

During this time ... that is to find out where we are and report back to us. We devised 3 sets of clues which they have to choose a set to help them locate us. The general clue is that we are at Jurong area. This part of the game gets very interesting ... We are actually at the Cafe of our church.

The 1st set of clues is colours - which are blue[the fountain], black[black tiles], and white [walls and chairs]. As u can see, this set of clues are not helpful at all ... so teams who choose this clue first ... well God bless them. Ha.

The second set is sounds : So... we make a psssssshhhh sound on the phone [sound of the water in the fountain of our church]. And followed by the chatter noise in the Cafe. Lastly is the sound of a waiter serving a customer in the cafe ... acted by Janet and myself.

The 3rd set of clues is Objects. First object is toilet. Second is plants. Third is a black box - emitting light.[ which is a TV set].

So teams have to choose either 1 set, and if in 20 mins time they couldn't find us ... we will give them the 2nd set ... and if in another 15 mins they couldn't find us ... we'll give them the last set of clues. Well, this isn't so hard ... given that they should know where we are when they chat with us .... cos the cafe we are in is very noisy .. plus by common sense ... they should know that there can only be 3 places that we will be in. Chua's place .. Jurong point shopping mall or Church. So after we given out all the clues, the 3 teams found us. actually... the first 2 teams who found us exchange clues and work together to locate us. Haa.

Next we play 2 indoor games at Chua's place. Agree-Disagree game and an acting game.

Agree and disagree game will be played like this. Gamemaster says a theme : for example X'mas. and then she'll say a word like eg: Bells. If you agree its related to the theme , you do a agree sign ... which is to put both hands together over your head - like a mountain shape. If u disagree, you will have to cross your hands to make the "x" sign. This game is pretty fun because as the game goes by ... many people can tricked .. when they show the sign too rashly. But of course the game requires you to make the sign fast .... As the game speed picks up ... more people are caught with the mistakes. Guys/gurls with 2 mistakes are automatically eliminated from the game. A goood and fun game!

The acting game requires teams ... so we form 3 teams .. 2 guys... 1 girl team. Teams have to line up in a line with everyone facing the front .. front to back/ front to back. Then the 2nd member has to use action to guide the first person to do an action ... and from there .. the first person must guess what he/she is doing. Also a very fun game ... especially when we see the girls team jumping around to get the message across to the person infront. Haa

Ha i am really very very very tired. I am gonna cut this short. We eat our dinner later. Watch the famous movie .. Shrek and finish off by watching some of my cell group mates perform a skit. Then i walked to Boon lay mrt station with my friends. I can say that this outing is very very fun.... and the 2 friends i brought also agreed with me. Haa ,... jsut wanna thank the organisers .. and of course God for making everything run so smoothly. The whole outing was phenomenal.

Well i kinda MIA myself from this sanctuary for a long long time. Guess its time to clear the fungus and moss-es in here. I had 3 day of fun and exciting adventure. Ha. I remembered the last time i blog, i posted stuffs about IVU - IntraVenous Urogram. That time i became samurai men and got cool liquid dyes run all over my body. Well this time .. i underwent another cool procedure. Introducing ...

Kidney/Renal Biopsy

pls note : The subject is not enjoying any part of the procedure but is happy to blog about the happenings of it just to scare the kids next door. Ha~

More information : http://patients.uptodate.com/topic.asp?file=kidn_dis/6752
[caution : very detailed. Read at your own risk]

Well i have to be admitted to Tan Tock Seng Hospital [TTSH] 1 day before the actual procedure. I was there on 12/12/2004 around 3.30pm. Everything was as per normal. And men .. this is my 1st time staying in a hopsital. Sounds qutie exciting. The not so exciting part is when they started connecting a tube-like object onto my right hand. So i have to live with a needle in my right hand for 3 whole days cos i can only be discharge on Wednesday which is today!. So i began to look like Wolverine from X-men where-ever i go with that stupid thing stuck on my hand. I certainly look life-threatening and so all the Ah-pehs[old uncles] and Ah-nis[Aunties] stayed a considerable distance away from me. Ha~

Well nothing much happened on the first day. I was abit bubbly and was wondering around the ward to seek entertainment. However, we all know that you won'y to see much in TTSH except old folks. It's an Oldie(s) Haven/Paradise there men. I sure do not fit in the crowd. My 2 nice uncles and my 1 nice grandma visited me on that faithful day. And they lectured me alot on preparing myself for university and National Service. I just sit on my bed and listen motionlessly. My uncle bought alot of nice snacks for me. Then, Janet and Wan Yi came to visit me.We talked abit of crap till 8+pm before Wan Yi's stomach gave somewhat like a roar. So, they have to leave me to seek food. Haa. Kinda exagerated. I began to plant myself in the TV-room. [My ward has no TV-s] Err the show was showing some guess-the-price-of-the-food show which is not exactly very entertaining. And then i saw Survivor's Finals. Just when the climax is reached, where they are releasing the results, the screen went blank. Through my incredulous Super-human sense, i sensed that Magneto [You know the baddie in X-men?] has once again cause menace in the city and has distrubted the electrical supply to the TV i am watching. Darn that Magneto. It is just 9 pm and i am cut from all forms of entertainment in the hospital. What a bummer.

Fast-forward..

The next day i woke up pretty early. Hehe around 7.30 am. My operation will commence around 8.30. I went to the toilet to wash my face and release my bowels before i ready myself and allow the doctor to hanky panky me.

At 8 am, I sit still on my bed, could hear a mosquito whizz past me.

At 8.05, the elderly patient opposite my bed set up, half dozy and half awake, started staring at me. Well staring incidents are common. So i stared back

At 8.15, more elderly patient woke up. Think they kinda join in the fun. The game of staring has propagated around the dormitory.

At 8.20, the nurses and 3 doctors came in and start hanky panky-ing with the elderly folks. They seem to be discussing serious stuffs with each patient in the room

At 8.30, the relatives of one of the patients came in. It is a pretty young lady. =D. She looks like the daughter of one of the patient. Men such filial spirit. Got up so early to see her dad.

At 8.40, my palms began to wet the bed.

at 8.45, 2 nurses approached me and ask for my phone number.
Oops, sorry its i/c number. Gotcha there. They verified my identity before they strapped me on the bed and rolled my bed out of the dorm. Men its kinda fun. I was in like some giant trolley with pillows and blanket getting around the ward on wheels. Being in the elavator going up and down in a vertical position is kinda common. Try being in a horizontal position. =)

I arrived at a room where many doors closed behind me. Men it is kinda cold in there. I got dressed up for the operation. Well, i am really shivering inside the room. Probably from both apprehension and from the cold. They took my blood pressure and oxygen count using a machine.. doing a last check to ensure i am fine before they called for the doctor.

Nice? Men that needle was long. Good thing i did not do this research b4 the procedure.

This is what i saw. of course I was going "OMG OMG OMG" all the way. That needle is soo long that i think it can go through my whole body with about 20 cm of needle sticking out from the other end of my body. So i rest my fate and of course i prayed the night before and in the morning. Well if you click the link i pasted at the front ... you will know that procedure like this have the good side and down side. Haaa men i forgot to say why i am going through this

The reason:
During NS medical examination, doctors found blood in my urine. It is not visible but still it gives a +ve test in the urine-tape examination. I was send to TTSH for further checks, where they conducted more urine checks and send me for IUV. IUV shows that there are no stones in my urinary track. Hence, the doctor is convince that i am suffering from urina-something-vitis. - where my white blood cells start recognising my organs as foreign body and starts to attack it. Hence blood in my urine. There are complications to this disease and this Renal Biopsy procedure is to confirm this + identify how active is this attack in my kidney.

Well i haven't told much people about this since i first got the news 'cos it is not a very big thing. As in, the real cause of the blood in my urine is unkown. Well just pray for the best.

Back to the procedure.

Since our kidney is at our back, i was asked to lie on my front so that they can operate on my back. The doctor started pouring what-seems-like alocohol all over my back. And when i mearn pour, i mean pour. My back was soaking with that liquid. Why do they need so much alcohol? Maybe they were thinking of burning me if Singapore one day runs out of food. Anyway, the docs are discussing some kinda Singapore Doctor politics and how NUH doctors are "bad". I don't really understand what they are discussing but surely the doctor operatin me doesn't like to work in NUH and he doesn't like NUH doctors.

After a few seconds later, he injected anesthetics onto my back, particularly around my kidney region. Then i feel the doctor poking me and he started asking whether i feel any pain. I twitch alittle when he poke me but i replied a macho "no". ha. And later i feel something going into my body. Deep in. I felt alittle queasy. The doctor said he's gonna take the samples of tissue from my kidney out. I heard a loud click, and feel alittle tingly sensation when he extracted a slice of tissue from my kidney. All in all, he extracted about 3 stings of tissues. The doc showed me the strings of tissue right after the operation. I was going from "woo and ahh" when i see my lil body parts in the suspended solution in 3 seperate containers.

After the whole procedure, i was of course wheeled back to my dorm. I can tell you that nothing is worst than the aftermath of anesthetic operation. Men my abdomen ached like mad and i rang for the nurse twice! All the pain came back and it was real excrucaiting. I was given 2 tablets of pain-killers to ease out. I felt totally horrible. I lost all appetite and skipped lunch. Slept all the way till Karista and Xiu Wen came. They brought cakes and luckily i recovered enough to speak to them and greet them. They were truly nice and cheer me up alittle. Later, 2 of my uncles, John and Jessica also came to visit me. I was trully blessed by their presence.

I checked out today. The report will not be out till in a month's time. Will blog the results. =) Just wanna say i am thankful that there are no complications during this whole procedure. ANd thx for all the sms-es,visits and jokes that you guys have sent me thru my stay. Nothin can be more boring than staying in a hospital. These 3 days ain't gonna be cool and smooth sailing without u guys.

Thx again =D

Maple Story

Since its holiday now ... i have more time to tell stories. Long long ago, in a far far away land, there lives a young woodchopper. His name is Sonic Legion. After his parents brought him to watch "The incredibles" in the cinema, he decided to aspire to be a great superhero. Well he learnt alot from his father. His Father was once a great reknown cockroach slayer whom can slay almost anything that moves under his sharp falcon eyes. His father has always said " The strength of hero doesn't like with his muscles but trully on his heart" Being a well respected cockroach slayer, his Father has many been in many quest to save citizens from the evil cockroaches.

One fine day, his father went missing. It was heard from rumours that he was captured by King Cockroach. Soon enough, it was confirmed by a tv-wide telecast in pest-channel that King Cockroach had him. Legions's mom was bewildered and was on the verge of breaking down. Legion had to do something. Something fast ...

Legion immediately decided to go 1 on 1 with Cockroach King. But he needs to train up. During his scout around the woods, he found a "A complete idiot's guide to be a Superhero". Feeling lucky he open the book. Suddenly the book shivered and a great beam of light fall on him. It seems the book is sucking him into somewhere. *psst and he was gone.

Now our hero appears at Maple Land

Introducing our new Hero. Legion

Our hero likes to take pictures. Looking good =) aint he?

He is pretty weak at the start. The training to be a superhero is a tedious one. He is now poking the enemy's eye with his axe.

Well the red snail doesn't seem to respond to the poke. So our hero tried to bribe him to die. here he toss a coin at the snail.

After along while, our hero decided to befriend the snail. Here he sits next to the snail and pat his head happily. Well better a friend than a foe, isn't that what they say? His father's words ring pretty true, if u can remember.

The red snail told Legion that he is the only hope in the dark dark world in maple land. However our hero cannot stay long on maple land cos there isn't much he can do but slay snails and mushrooms. He needs to grow powerful in order to rescure his dad! He told the snail his story and the snail told him that there is a Flying ship in South Perry of maple land that bringd passengers to Victoria Island. There he can find out more about being a true hero.

And pop, he goes to Victoria Island. He is currently level 6. But don't worry, he will be strong.

*To be continued*

~-# Prom Nite #-~

Venue: Gran Corpthone. RiverFront Hotel
Time : 1900 - 0100

Today was our prom nite, YEAA. The first and the last school-wide event we have after A's. The day we get to say the "byebye" and give hugs to all our good old buddies. Haaa at least that was what we would expect to see.

Well, i was together with most of my classmates .. having a table of our own ... however, unfortunately we have to sit right at the back of the hall. The place was brightly decorated with lights and red/orange balloons tied to the chairs. Each table has a booklet of Prom King and Prom Queen nomination tickets, the menu, some spices and a bowl of candles. Pretty nice set-up. We settled down at around 7.30 and the whole dinner commence at 8 pm.

And men .... i couldn't really recognise everyone. Everyone was like wow .... so handsome and pretty. Some of my friends hired a make-up artist to style their hairs and appearances with [if i am not wrong] 70 bucks. I was really happy to see sooo many handsome boys but more happy haha to see many pretty girls. =D. And its also nice to see that on of my classmates had inspiration from Florence Lian [Judge of Singapore Idol] and has adopted her "poodle hairdo" outlook too. haha. Most of my friends commented that she had a "Gothic" look.

Well the food was really good. Lemme see, we had sesame-braised Chicken... woo really yummy, their restaurant's 4-delights, shark fin, dunno what but quite nicely cooked noodle, Steamed fish, Veggie scallops, and mango-kinda desert. It is really good. But like what my friend said, its like they added alot of Monosodium Glutamunate [MSG] [spelling should be wrong] into the food, cos we were burning with thirst after the dinner.

The programme was kinda erm normal i guess. Lucky draw with 20 attractive prices, Games with the Crowd, Selection of Prom King and Prom Queen, Games with the Prom King,Queen Nominees, Singers who entertatined us with their not so nice singing [no offence =P ] , video presentation and of course many photo-takings in between and after the dinner. It is a pretty cool dinner i would say and really good to see all of my friends at their happy state compared to their normal, tired, depressed look at school. Very good.

Well after the whole dinner, most of my friends ... in fact i tink 80% went to club. A good boy that has no life like me .. has to return to his humble sweet home. haha. No la ,,, actually i dun mind joining them but got a return to company tomorrow and have to spend a long day in church. So gotta take some rest at home now and today.

Enjoyed myself very much. Very happy to see pretty girls in pretty dresses. =D hahah Well take care everyone.

Taufik won. Wahahaha. But truly he is better than Slyvester. Wonder what i am talking about ?? Singapore Idols. My very first episode ...... was to watch the finals .. lol. And men Taufik's voice was damn cool. Anyway they are all cool. =D

Haa didn't blog lately. Wanted to ... but ended up playing games. Lol . Celebrated Jason Chong's Birthday. Haa we went to Garrick's house for some fun watching the TV and eating potato chips. We also played game and Jason ... not me ... the birthday boy got 5 "it" or "forfeits". And haa Garrick suggested something cool for the forfeit. Finding a 5 cent coins in a plate full of meal worms. And mind you, the worms are real long ... with legs ... its like greying centipedes. hahaha and he had to find this coin embbeded in wood shaving and meal worms. Haa and of course he found it.

That was all. =D

LOOK IT'S A BIRD ... I'TS A PLANE .. NONO IT'S OVER !!! A LEVEL's OVER. WAHAHAHAHA

Movie Reviews
-Shark Tale
-The Incredibles

Haa i've watched The incredibles and Shark Tale. Just wanna say that The incredibles is quite nice. Very well animated and well ... it suits all the superhero fantasies we dream of during our childhood days very well. Shark Tale on the other hand ... isn't as nice as it sounds. Though like Finding Nemo, it revolves around a small plot, the idea of the plot is pretty boring and i would say unimaginative. Unlike Finding Nemo, it doesn't bring out excitement in seeing the little adventures of the different fishes in the movie. It simply revolves about a fish who wanted to be famous and got his chance by telling a big fat lie that it slays sharks. How lame can that be? Maybe it might please small kiddies but comapred to Pixar's Finding Nemo and The Incredibles, it still got alot of catching up to do in terms of having a good nice plot.

Well, taking my Biology Paper 3 this time. I was quite late at the start. Everyone was seated down already and i was like the only one still standing with my bag. I quickly fumbled through my files to get my pencil box, entry proof and other stuffs and tried to grab any seat i could find. Unfortunately this is A levels. Seating arrangement matters. I couldn't find my class. And then here, the Chief Examiner was like asking me to hurry up. Everyone was looking @ me. Gee its really embarassing. For a moment i was at a lost of what to do. And then, i saw Joel's Head and quickly rush to them cos my seat will be quite near them. I finally found my seat. IT was all the way in the front. Talk about close proximity with the teachers infront.

As i started doing the paper. I nearly faint at the first question. I was wondering did i miss out this topic? The first question was asking about parasites ... and they want a named parasite, its function and the visible features it has as relate to the function of the organism. I was like ?!. Men i thought i covered all the topics in the Bio option. So my emergency mechanism start to act up and i started carapping like never b4. After about 5 mins, i heard a tap on my table. I look up and saw miss Wong, my bio teacher looking abit . What can be the matter? I couldn't be barred from my exam paper because i was like abit late? Actually i wasn't really late. She look up and me ans said, "Jason you are doing the wrong option!. We are doing Growth and development option 3." And suddenly everything click. MEN. I could go on liek this and waste 15 mins of my precious time b4 i found out i was doing the wrong option in the paper. All along i've been doing option topic 1: Biodiversity. which i have never studied b4. Great, i only wasted 5 mins. A rush of mixed gratitude plus embarassment swept over me. Well no time to lsoe, i quickly proceeded to option 3 and started doing ....

Well the paper was easier than i expected. BUT... i din complete the paper. Very pathetic. I got 25 whole mins to do my essay and i still flopped. Men am i a slow thinker or wad? I was worried that my essay points are not to the point. Thereby I wasted quite alot of time on 1 part. Sad.

Now onto my very last battle for this level which will commence on Thursday. [GMT +08:00] - at 0800 <[+][-] 1 min>. After this it'll be ......

Men ................. seconds seems like hours ... days seems like centuries. Having completed almost half the battle, another half is just right there waiting for me.

Just had my Chem paper yesterday, and my bio paper this morning .... Everyone seems to give me a "hey, this is an easy paper." look. Well it isn't hard .... but i sure hope i did not do beneathe expectation. I just felt like i screw up on every paper. I am going to have Maths Paper 1 later and my brain is already half dead. That's why i feel that i should release some of my thoughts here ..............

I am really looking forward to the end. Not that end can bring absolute happiness. But at least my apprehension, anxiety, headache would lessen. Well i don't know what else to type. I seem to have alot of things to say b4 i blog but now .... nothing seems to be in my head. Is someone stealing my thoughts ?? Can;t be .. i have attained Jedi Level 3 mind block. Anyway .... those who are still having exams .... STudy hard. A verse for all of us :

"Now to him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us."

-- Exodus 3:20
New King James Version [ i think]

This message was from my sister in Christ - Janet.

Men ... Guess where am I ?. I'm in school ..hahaa and the day after today will be another pivotal, paramount, crucial battle of the year .... for me that is. It's the battle of staying in the hall while writing essay in the midst of the the freezing temperature. It's the battle of creative juice. It's the battle of self - memory of the world affairs and things we learnt from our regular GP exam. Tomorrow is going to be an exciting day.

The past 2 days aren't very exciting. My computer is badly hit by stupid viruses. I reformatted my com on Sun because i found out that there are too much rubbish in it. And that i can remove all my games ini my computer so tht i can concentrate more on my work. Well i was greatly fustrated when installing Windows XP Service Pack 2, which promises many protections. The irony is the program doesn't provide a well enough coverage of protections. I visited the microsoft forum to find out why i can't install the service pack 2 and found out that there are loads of other problems displayed by other users across the world. What's more is ..... a hacker controlled my computer right infront of my eyes. My current free antivirus which offers me a 60 day trial is soo kind as to allow trojan horses, worms, and other malicious forms of virus to enter my computer while i am surfing the net. I can't seem to be able to get my trusty sidekick - Norton Antivirus back into my com. I cant download it from the net either. The hacker tried very hard to intimidate me by openly opening up windows explorer and the command prompt and install stupid programmes right in front of me. I just immediately rebooted my com and conducted many scans. What i can say is :

Jason's Review
Avast! Antivirus 4 Home edition
Style: 8/10
Efficiency : 5/10
Protection : 3/10

Comments: It is pretty stylish antivirus. I backed up this program before i reformat 'cos i thot with the good packaging, the product will be equally good as well. The program scores a high point for Style as it as customisable skins which can be downloaded from the net. However, it lacks good efficiency it destroying anti-virus, providing total control against the further spread of Virus. For protection wise ... what else can i say. I got hacked while the anti-virus is running.

Zone Alarm
Style: 6.5/10
Efficiency 9/10
Protection : unknown

Comment: I should have used this program long ago. It is very much more reliable.

Norton Antivirus
Style : 6/10
Efficeincy: 10/10
Protection 10/10

Comment: Trusty Sidekick, Never failed me at all.

Well i decided to fix my com and kick all the viruses' butt after i kick A level's butt. I got a feeling that God made my com ridden with problems so that i can stop fiddling with it and concentrate more on my work. Well so i won't be bloggin much. Unless i am in school .... =) All the best to the A levelers, O levelers, and erm ... examers ....

May the force [of God] be with ya

It's blogging time .. and yes i know i should be spending my time digging my books and going thru' TYS but hey, there is something really special today that i really wanna share. A feeling i have again since Emerge Conference. If you happen to read my blog, I should say that you got to read this. Not to just know my life, but know about some-things in life. Things that reputation, money and even plain proclamation of your faith can't buy.

Well like me start of by saying how my day went. Well yesterday night i got a hang-over. Dunno why but my whole week became very depressing. Especially after my Chemistry practical which was ... like what my previous post described. Totally urgh and puack. Life goes on. But my heart and mind just can't move on. Depression is famously described by my Church leaders as a black-hole equivalent; as a never ending dark tunnel that you just unknowningly[most of the time] fall in and get stuck in. It's like being deep beneathe in a swimming pool which u cant seem to surface. It's suffocating. I felt just like that. The previous week was even worst. I got so depressed that i nearly thought i was back-sliding, that my life was coming to an end. It's no joke. My faith and of course my friends play a big part in helping me pull through. Being depressed, naturally you can't study. You can't think. You mind is just encaged. Today i felt much better. Especially after service. Hmm so i shall share the happening in my service b4 i share the important thoughts and reflections that hit me after service and on my way home.

Today is my duty in my church service. That is i have to put on my usher-tag, give everyone a big smile, and carry out the instructions that my I/C has directed or place me in. As you know, my church is big and we need properly direct the crowd and people to empty seats. This is done through careful instructions and hand signals. There is when my role come in. This is my first time taking the role as "Acupoint". Basically i am supposed to know which part of the auditorium have empty seats and to pass the info around to the door ushers. I am situated at the top of the long stairs with my partner below. She will use hand signal to tell me how many seats there are in each zone and feed back to me. So it just remind me and give me the impression that i am in ... you know those stock market ... where they use hand signal to bring accurate clear message across. Pretty fun. My opinion of this job : Its quite fun and easy to do. Compared with being in-charge of a zone, well this role as an acupoint is much more relaxing and easy to do =D. I learnt quite alot from the people around me, though i think one of the sisters is not very please with my performance. Anyway, i am generally happy with my performance. I don't think i screw up anything through out my whole ushering session.

This part is very good. Pastor Kong spoke about something that has been bothering me in my past few days and weeks. The style of worship. I just can't feel God as tangibly as i want to when i worship. The pastor spoke abit about this agenda. I shall share abit of his sermon which really impact my life. Why .. err share later la. hahah dun frown, this is gonna be a long post.

Worship
I have ask my cell group leader, aka my mom, Karista about my style of worship. When i worship, i visualise on what the words meant and how i can see myself doing what i say. That's how i worship. But i have been ignorant about the fact that alot of times, i've drifted my attention away from God. Just like what Pastor Derek said, it's funny that your mind can be empty at times but when you start praying or worshipping, suddenly your mind will be clouded with lots of stuff. Here are the points raised by the pastor:

1) Worship is waiting upon the Lord.
- We have to wait for the Lord, 'cos God works on his own timing.
- When we learn to wait, we'll be able to slowly feel his presence

2) Worship is undistracted Focus on God
- We have to learn to put aside the things that are around us, and solely focus on him
- For when our heart and mind is, there our spirit is also.

3) Worship is extravagant adoration of God
- We can learn to postrate, kneel infront of Lord
- To postrate is to go to the lowest level we can go, when worshipping God.

4) Worship is unconditional sacrifice for God
- I'ts going to cost our time, money, pocessions and ultimately our lives
- We have to learn to give up our lives to him, to let him mould us to what he wants us to be.

This is a poweful message. After the message, we started worshipping God as a congregation. I can tell you, men i got this feeling. The warmth i never felt for years since i have accepted Christ as my personal Lord and saviour. I feel God's blanket of warmth encovering me, entwining me. Non-Christians may call it wishful thinking. But let me challenge all my friends who think this way. Come to my church to experience the feeling for yourself. For such things are unique and may be different for everyone. ..... I was really trembling and shaking when i am just beside the stage. I can really feel the power, the tangible presence that make my feets weak. I can't explain this feeling. I mean, hey if i start to shake and tremble in the middle of Orchard Road, you gotta start worrying about me. But hey no ... this is not that. Not what Science can explain as an alike form of Parkinson's Disease. It is a real confirmation that God is there. God moved right infront of me. That is no way i can deny it. To deny is to be ignorant. I can't follow the Scientific requirements of explaining this feeling through methodology, systematic explanation, or experimental deductions through and of this phenomenon. It's simply a level or key that doesn't fit into the lock that Science requires. To non-christians out there .. seeing is believing. Its only when you are willing to give yourself this chance to see what i see, to feel what i feel. Then you'll know something is different. And what i said is true.

The real important part of all this message is my reflections.
I have discovered a new me. A different me that is so different from my old me. To tell you the truth, coming to City Harvest Church should be about knowing God. But it's not just that and it doesn't end there. Coming to Church and empowered me with new skills.

-I've learned important relational skills [not just the usual friend to friend chat], but the importance and way of effective communication [thru the relationship seminal].
-I've learned not to take for granted in all things.
-I've learned about Goal Setting.
-I've learned about releasing and maximising my potential in me.

-I've learned to see through your own problems to solve your problems.
-I've learned to open up more.
-I've learned to be tolerant at times when my friends can rub me in the wrong wa
-I've learned to be appreciative over little things in life.
-I've learned the importance of handling money.
-I've learned serving skills which might be useful in my working life.
-I've learned to put my trust in the right place
-I've learned about habits of effective thinking and thinking for a change.
-I've learned to be more of a listener than a talker
-I've learned anout punctuality.
-I've learned to make the best out of every little thing
-I've learned about building self-esteem

How about spirirtually?
-I've learned to speak in tongues more
-I've learned about Faith. Forsaking All I Trust Him
-I've learned about God's amazing Grace.
-I've learned about stewardship
-I've learned about trusting God not for all things but in all things
-I've learned about tithing
-I've learned to be a soul-winner
-I've learned about Patience and Perserverance
-I've learned cool and important bible verses [God's Promises]

-I've learned about the attitudes of the heroes of our Faith
-I've learned about Jeruselum and Antioch Church
-I've learned about sacrifice. [like sacrificial faith pledges]
-I've learned to build my own altar for God

This are the things i can remember of. The things i've learned in this 17 months. What can i say. My life has changed. I don't thing i've learned anything bad in this 17 months. I've not pick up any bad habit. Only good ones to add to the list of my not so good ones. Looking back at this. I was like wow. What a change. I used to be sooo quiet and i don't dare to even look at girls. I used to be worked up very easily. Though i still am now, but i know that i am changing. I am becoming a different person! And i find this journey exciting. Astonishing. Amazing. Crazy. Fun. Sad. Crazy. And i dunno what else to say. It's sad that in life, many people do not give chance to certain things. And they give a chance to all the wrong things in all, drugs, terrorist acts. A world that we live today is torn and broken with so many "new age cultures" which sometimes we as ordinary people can't differentiate the good from the bad. And the best part of coming to this church is ... i make new friends. I've friend who always talk to me that he has no true friends. I've also another friend who say that alot of people in this world are hypocrites. I've friends who backstabbed me. I came to City harvest, and i discovered a whole new environment. Maybe you might say you jsut found a new clique or social activity partners. I can only say, don't be so shallow minded. Its really a totally different environment here. Alot of care, share and of course a fervant attitude to seek God. The environment we live in often changes who we are and everything that comes with it. Don't ask me why. This is part of Biology. Go read O/A level bio textbook. Chapter 11 - Evolution [ps: the chapter is fake. Go find the chapter yourself.]

I've met people who have only met me for 12 months and are willing to fork out hundred over dollars just for me to buy formal clothings for my usher. I've met people who constantly encourage me.Directly or Indirectly. Know when my birthday is and reserve a special weekend to celeb for me. I've met this group of people who are willing to listen to my pains. Over and over again! I've met people who are willing to lend their ties, shoes , belts and even fork out money for my personal expenses. I've known of this people, who fork out their time to visit my dying grandpa lying in the hospital bed. I can go on .... forever. The fact is that there is no such clearly- cool place on Earth that i've found that has blessed me so much. Look, it's not about how much i receive from this people that counts. It's the heart. The thought. The very meaning of doing this for someone u barely know for a few months , days and to a extent ... a year. I am quite sentimental. And i can say that I love you dudes and dudees. Most of all, I loved God. I love the special place he has place me into. This is not just a time of reflection. It's a time of appreciation of what you guys have done for me. I meant it straight from my heart. Thank you. Whatever you are, whatever you do. God bless you.

Horrificadiciousisation

A simple word say its all. A simple word to describe a practical that i have take 6 hours ago. A simple word to express the anguish and urgh.. after 2 1/2 hours of pouring chemicals after chemicals and getting my hand all itchy when the chemicals happily erode my hand. Most of all i nearly finished my paper. So i'll lose some marks on the questions that i din do. On top of that, i tink someone fed me alcohol when i am asleep. I hallucinated at some part, and that hallucinated thought cos me ans the !@#!@#!@# 1st question totally wrongly. Marks just flew. Disappointment. I am really really disappointed.

Well this might might be the last time i post for this 2 months ... A levels is coming and my 1st practical paper starts just next week. Goodness.

I just wanna say how God never fails to amaze me. Many a times he seems to be a distant God. But he sure knowss what i am thinking and provides solution to me in a time when you least expected to hear from Him. Yesterday's Cell group was great and i received alot of Rhema[word from God] word through the whole meeting. I was very compelled to Visualise and to Speak out my visions just like God did in Genesis. He spoke out this world which we are living in. Amazing isn't it? The message is simple. Desiring something calls for action. To bring our desires into the supernatural, we have to visualise that we've already acquire or complete what we want or desire. Secondly, we have to confess and rehearse that desire. Lastly we have to remember Faith is done by our works. As the saying goes Faith without work is dead. Action is required to initiate the path of success. When we start to act, God will start to direct and so our actions will always lead us somewhere.

Yea and this one is very important. I prayed about it and God answerd it

How 2 break the cycle of defeat:
1)Change the way you see yourself
2)Change the words you say to yourself.
Hence be good to yourself. =D

Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,

-- Hebrews 6:1
New King James Version

I lost my bible again. I don't know whether i lost it at home or at Church. Damnations.

we will still be .. Friends Forever

This is it. Graduation. The day the school says "bye bye" to us. The day we all shared moments of our past adventures and precious memories. The day which we reflect what we have accomplish, what we have been through and the little happenings in college life.

The day began with Chapel [ our ususal friday routine - where we sit together; sing hymns ; listen to the message by the pastor ]. Our very last chapel. Normally i do not put lyrics here cos i have a lyrics site in my blog but for this time ... tink its better and more meaningful to type the lyrics here. I shall type 2 songs first :

~~

College hymn

Our Father by who servants
Our School was built of old
Whose hand hath crowned Thy children
with blessings manifold
For Thy unfailing mercies
Far strewn along our way
With all who passed before us
We praise Thy name today

They reaped not where they laboured
We reap what they hath sown
Our harvest may be garnered
By ages yet unknown
The days of old hath dowered us
With gifts beyong all praise
Our Father make us faithful
To serve the coming days

Before us and beside us
Still holden by Thy hand
A cloud of unseen witness
Our elder comrades stand
One family unbrokem
we Join with one acclaim
One heart, one voice uplifting
To glorify Thy name

That's our college hymn. Though this song might be old, it is quite a nice song. If yoy aint from SAJC, and when i am in a super good singing mood, you might be able to catch the chance to let me sing to ya. haha. I shall put in our College school song before i continue blogging

The School Song

Lives are in the making here,Hearts are in the waking here,Mighty undertaking here,Up and On! Up and On!
We are arming for the fight,Pressing on with all our might,Pluming wings for higher flight,Up and On!

Chorus
Up Saints! Truest fameLies in high endeavour;Play the game! keep the flameBurning brightly ever!

Fair before us lies the way,Time for work and time for play;Fill the measure while we may,Up and On! Up and On!
Life and time will not delay,Time is running fast away,Life is now today; today;Up and On!
Chorus

Foes in plenty we shall meet,Hearts courageous scorn defeat; So we press with eager feet,Up and On! Up and On!
Ever onward to the fight,Ever upward to the Light,Ever true to GOD and RIGHT,Up and On!
Chorus

Anyway, this song can be integrated in to sponge bob square pants programmes cos we have a teacher in SA who can sing this song exactly like Mr spongebob. Ya then more kids will wanna come SA to learn this cool song. Wahhaha.

Back to the Blog.

We had a short message by the pastor on the significance of life. He showed us a slogan saying "I am you." and " I am your happily ever after " slogans from a car advertisement. He showed us that cars don't last and the picture from the slide he showed to us as an example is Princess Diana's wrecked car. The messag was simple. That worldly matters will die out. God however is eternal. Our life everlasting all comes from him. That we are created as an image of him. He treasure us and will hear upon any of our cry, whether you are a christian or non-christian.

Later came the photogenic slide presentation and video presentation of the happenings of 2003/2004. The sports, the fun school pragrammes ranging from Orientation [Saintezia], Discovery Fiesta[2003] to Service learning [2004]. We have a few laughs over the presentation ... of what happen. Cannon In D was the background music for the photogenic sldie presentation. Kinda nice and sweet.

After that we sang college hymn and all of us sat down again to listen to the speech by the principal, arts dept repst. Mr Yoong, Sci dept respt. Mr Roland Lee and finally the President of student Council Whye Kiat. The speeches are qutie meaningful. Won't elaborate too much about it. Mrs Lim[our principal] spur us to be creative and utilize our brain fully in whatever we do in the future. Mr Yoong said something about that we would treasure relationships andwe should by all means do that. I cant really remember what he said also :P. Mr roland Lee told us to treat A Levels like a battlefield and bring our Saints Spirit over to overcome this challenge. Whye kiat reminded us of the 2 grouchy drink stall aunties who have left [haha - this part is funny] and also leave us with the cliche of studying hard and wishes for all the best.

Then ahhh this song is very nice. The teachers sang You raise me Up by Josh Groban, though i prefer Josh Groban's version of singing. And I must say Miss Ang [my 1st 3 months GP teacher], can sing very well. She's not very good at high notes but still she has a great voice.
Lastly, we sang the hymn Lord Dismiss Us With Thy Blessing. [which is a nice hymn too :) ]

The end message of this chapter in SAJC ?

Once a Saint, Always a Saint .

We had yum yum food later too =D. Men got very nice baby chicken drumbsticks and cheesecake. YUMZ. They are the hot stuffs there and were out very fast. Haa actually the drumsticks are not for us and are meant for the students. But in the end haha we got our hands on it :P buahahhaha. =D

Then its click click time. Everyone flash their digi cams and optic cams and we began clicking like never before again. I will upload the pictures later when my friends send me the picts. Well jsut wanna say i feel kinda sad that things are going to end and soon we will be back into the battlefield, battling for A's in our A Level. Will we forget each other , I wonder. Will days, months and years go by when we soon lose contact with our buddies, mates and cliques ? Truly SAJC is a nice JC with its unique studying environment of its own. I would say we have a "slack culture" before in our batch but this change quickly when we are in JC2. Life does not end here. Every end is a beginning of something new. But i just hate endings. May it be in movies or real life. I hate partings and such stuffs. Am i resisting changes or just a regular conservative? I am not sure. Just know and pray that i have to and will conquer A levels with this short time left.

Quote by Miss Cher : After your A's, you will think "after all its only an exam." What truly matters most is that you bring you values, morals .. with you. If you don't stand up for anything, you will fall for everything.

Btw she's our pretty and cool GP teacher. =)
Mrs Wong Ching Hwa also had a great quote. Something about Heart Matters. If anyone reading knows this quote pls tell me.

and yup i forgot to mention this. One of my classmate Elane did a very nice thing. She bought many yellow and daisies and distributed them to us. Yea maybe i shall start calling her flower girl but men the flowers are real nice. I planted the flower in this big 1 litre green tea bottle in my kitchen. It looks like very much like a sunflower to me. Thx for the flowers Elane .. if you ever get to read this :)

The end ?

Tat's all folks. Good day ahead :)
i will not be blogging much now cos its just 20 days to my next paper. Sighz. Anyway got something funny to share.

Haa Do u tink durian have eyes? Well, b4 i went out to cut my hair this morning, i saw this funny chinese local variety show. Dunno what it is. It explores the topic on durians and on one part of the show, participants have to open try to open the fresh durian with the equipment given. Sounds easy? Might be. I dunno. They provide hammer and a stake ... hmmm looks like those equipment vampire hyunters used to hunt the bat-looking monsters. And a medium size knife. Haa there was one part a caucasian was asked to open the durian. haa .. then this little funny young boy tried to open the durain using a hammer by smashing it repeatedly. haha very funny.

Then come this part when the guest of the show was asked some question. If i am not wrong the qn asked was whether durians have eyes. Then most contestants replied no except for this little lady who said durians have eyes and if you plunge your knife accidentally to the eyes of the durian, the durain spirit will haunt you. O_o [apa ini?] haha. Well the very very funny part came when my grand ma suddenly said to me in a very serious tone. yea! Durians have eyes you know. That's why when there is people below the durian tree, it will not fall of the tree. Haa i cant take it at that point. She said it such a serious tone ... and i was like "Ah Ma!! WRONG CONCEPT!!" She used to tell me snakes have legs .... and the example she gave is the Komodo Dragon. And i keep telling her it belongs to the lizard family. Nothing to do with Snakes at all. She really amazes me some times. No matter how i tried to explain, she wun believe. Stubborness is in our family blood. I wonder if she also believe pigs can fly :P .. [ haa in case you think i am trying to make fun of her ... i am seriously not. Just find the arguments i had over this issues pretty funny]

Eventually the answer reviewed and DURIANS HAVE NO EYES. I became the triumphant winner and my granny [ahaha] just smiled and i am still unsure whether she is trying to joke with me or really really believe snakes have legs and durians have eyes.

Haa i am fascinated by the pictures below. Upload alotta pictures and just to say errr alittle abt this .. its very fun to upload pictures. haha i dunno y but it is very fun. Back to the subj.

Now i am gonna educate you guys about a exciting X-ray procedure i went thru' this morning.

Intravenous Urogram

This X-ray is totally different from all the X-rays i've done. I read about this X-ray examination online b4 i went for this procedure. More info @ :http://www.cgh.com.sg/health_public/pamphlet/x-ray/ivu_exam/ivu_exam.html. Let me take you through a magical journey h through this wonderful procedure.

Pre-Examination preparation:
Aw this is totally cool. First you have take this magical pill call Bisacodyltablets (a laxative pill). The purpose is to clear your bowels, intestines so that the X-ray machine can take wonderful snapshots of your urinary system. Did i mention this is a laxative pill? Participants have to take 2 pills 2 days b4 the screening and another 2 pills again the day before the actual screening. Participants will also enjoy a great bowel clensing moment in the toilet with occasional stomach upsets and pains during the course of defecation. Know what rocks for me the most? I have taken a total of 10 of this magical pills. Since i took 2 pills each time, i enjoyed 5 sessions of toilet bombing in all. How come i end up taking 10 when i only have to take 4? Due to my blurness and ignorance. 1st time was b'cos i am not covered by CMPB to do this examination. Hence the experiment on that day is voided and i have to retake another 4 pills. The next time was because i got the date mixed up. So i ended up taking only 2 pills instead of the 4. Hence i am given another 2 pills to enjoy. So .... tat's how i end up with 10 magical laxative pills.

The day of Examination:
I'm not allowed to eat anything from 8pm the night before all the way till after the screening. Talk about hunger. I need sufficient food. Or else my stomach will go "she bangs, she bangs .." haha not funny. B4 the examination i went toilet to pass motion again. Lots of watery juicy things pop out from my butt. I must say i cant stand the smell of the contents coming out. So .. i decided to dress up like the Afghanistan terrorist by wrapping tissue paper around my mouth and nose. Really. I spend quite a long time... and until i heard the nurse yelling my name outside then i thought i should end my toilet bombing session.

I got to dressed up liek a samurai warrior with the radioactive coat they provide. For once i might be Tom Cruise in the last Samurai. I went in the room and there i saw a bed. I thought they are gonna operate on me. I was told to lie on the bed and stay still. The doctors are all smiles and its like i am in a horror movie. Anyway, they told me to relax and there is this machines that they keep playing with. This machine is responsible of taking pictures of my urinary tracts or bowels. Each time just before i picture is taken, i was asked to hold my breathe and only let go a few secs after the picture is taken. So many pictures of my bowels are taken ... and i was wondering if i can bring back those pix as souvenirs. And ahhhh the moment came.

A smart looking doctor came and greeted me. He told me he was gonna inject me with a dye. Iodine complex to be exact.(refer to website) The style of injection is in the form of a drip. So as all bio students know, all the starch compounds flowing in my blood is gonna turn this iodine dark blue. Totally cool men. He told me a few thigns before the actual injection. First he mention abt the side-effects. This include feeling nauseouss, feeling hot, short of breathe, and in extreme cases : death. That time i got a shock. Death?? i asked the doctor what is this abt?? The doc replied only in very severe allergic body reaction woudl there be such a case. I was like OMG again. Am i send here to be executed? If there is a slight chance, there's still a chance. I told God pls don't take me home so early. Though i long to be home , there's still alot of things i wanna do on Earth b4 i go. In the end i felt a sharp prick on my hand. After a few seconds, i felt a sharp rush of heat across my neck to my brain. Cool , i thought.

After a few minutes, again pictures of my bowel were taken. The drip was still on. I was feeling kinda weak. Later, the assistant place 2 small hard weight on my stomach and fasten a large belt around my waist. He told me this is to facillitate the movement of the dye into my kidneys. O_o. I was like .. ok , bring it on. After a few minutes, pictures were again taken. BTW, i forgot to mention. Thsi procedure usually takes about 1 - 3/2 hrs. So gosh i just stare at the ceiling while i wonder if i would suddenly jump out and suddenly roll to the floor and die .. or i would start itching like mad [one of the possible side-effects].

Near the end, the drip was removed. The weight and the belts were removed. I was asked to sit up and told to drink water. So now they are introducing water into my bladder. After 10 mins or so, i was asked to lie flat again. This time the doctor asked me to turn to the side. He started shaking me... haha i cant help smirking when he started shaking me like i was some big giant baby bottle. After many shake-shakes, the doctor took a few more shots of my bowels. Finally, i was asked to change back to my own clothes and return the samurai costume. And that's all for this magical journey. Pretty cool X-ray exam huh? Never had such a kind of examination b4. Thank God i survie the journey.

~*~DADDY'S TEN~*~
~*~RULES OF~*~
~*~DATING~*

Rule One: If you pull into my driveway and honk you'd better be delivering a package, because you're sure not picking anything up.

Rule Two: You do not touch my daughter in front of me. You may glance at her, so long as you do not peer at anything below her neck. If you cannot keep your eyes or hands off of my daughter's body, I will remove them.

Rule Three: I am aware that it is considered fashionable for boys of your age to wear their trousers so loosely that they appear to be falling off their hips. Please don't take this as an insult, but you and all of your friends are complete idiots. Still, I want to be fair and open minded about this issue, so I propose this compromise: You may come to the door with your underwear showing and your pants ten sizes to big, and I will not object. However, in order to ensure that your clothes do not, in fact come off during the course of you date with my daughter, I will take my electric nail gun and fasten your trousers securely in place to your waist.

Rule Four: I'm sure you've been told that in today's world, sex without utilizing a "Barrier method" of some kind can kill you. Let me elaborate, when it comes to sex, I am the barrier, and I will kill you.

Rule Five: It is usually understood that in order for us to get to know each other, we should talk about sports, politics, and other issues of the day. Please do not do this. The only information I require from you is an indication of when you expect to have my daughter safely back at my house, and the only word I need from you on this subject is: "early"

Rule Six: I have no doubt you are a popular fellow, with many opportunities to date other girls. This is fine with me as long as it is okay with my daughter. Otherwise, once you have gone out with my little girl, you will continue to date no one but her until she is finished with you. If you make her cry, I will make you cry.

Rule Seven: As you stand in my front hallway, waiting for my daughter to appear, and more than an hour goes by, do not sigh and fidget. If you want to be on time for the movie, you should not be dating. My daughter is putting on her makeup, a process than can take longer than painting the Golden Gate Bridge. Instead of just standing there, why don't you do something useful, like changing the oil in my car?

Rule Eight: The following places are not appropriate for a date with my daughter: Places where there are beds, sofas, or anything softer than a wooden stool. Places where there is darkness. Places where there is dancing, holding hands, or happiness. Places where the ambient temperature is warm enough to introduce my daughter to wear shorts, tank tops, midriff T-shirts, or anything other than overalls, a sweater, and a goose down parka -- zipped up to her throat. Movies with a strong romantic or sexual theme are to be avoided; movies which features chain saws are okay. Hockey games are okay. Old folks homes are better.

Rule Nine: Do not lie to me. I may appear to be a potbellied, balding, middle-aged, imwitted has-been. But on issues relating to my daughter, I am the all-knowing, merciless God of your universe. If I ask you where you are going and with whom, you have one chance to tell me the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. I have a shotgun, a shovel, and five acres behind the house. Do not trifle with me.

Rule Ten: Be afraid. Be very afraid. It takes very little for me to mistake the sound of your car in the driveway for a chopper coming in over a rice paddy near Hanoi. When my Agent Orange starts acting up, the voices in my head frequently tell me to clean the guns as I wait for you to bring my >daughter home. As soon as you pull into the driveways you should exit the car with both hands in plain sight. Speak the perimeter password, announce in a clear voice that you have brought my daughter home safely and early, then return to your car -- there is no need for you to come inside. The camouflaged face at the window is mine.

Scary huh?
