My 1st day in Usher

I just joined USher !!!! Well maybe i shld xplain for the benefit of my non-christian friends :) Usher ministry is one of the many ministries of our Church. Well how many minitries are there .. u might ask :P .. Well we have security, choir, backup vocalist, community outreach, tuition, dance, Ministry of the Terminally-ill, Book Store, the list is endless ... haaa .. and i join one of the simplest church ministry which does not have much age and other requirements ...

Well, i must say in my 1st day .. it was pretty interesting. B4 church service starts, the usher has to do a coouple of things. One of which includes inserting and sorting out leaflets in a bulletin. Well there was quite a delay at 1st b'cos i tink our section IC was kinda late but anyway when we begin ... we work at an efficient speed. There are quite a number of leaflets to put in the bulletin ... and the interesting part is ... we were suddenly told we have 15 mins to complete 700 bulletins .. haa sounds like amazing race. Every one pick up their pace .. but it isn't easy as the fan was blowing around and the guy blocking the wind from the fan suddenly ran away ... so vooom .. everything becomes a mess ... "5 mins for another 300".. men how long must we last i wonder ...
eventually everything was sorted out :) and gd all is well!

Later i was briefed abt hand signals in Usher ... and how to usher people to seat ... haiz still very blur (*.*)~ cmi .. but i must say that i had a different experience during worship :) Everythings was sooo different. Even throughoutthe praise and worship, we have to continuously usher people to their seats. At the end of service, the male ushers have to carry chairs ... but the good thing is : there isn't much chair to carry :P

Ha i had a great time in usher. At the end of the day .. i am very tired :( haha dunno y but just tired .. i keep rubbign my eyes during the bible study class. an d if u manage to keep awake while reading thru this ... i applaud you ... haa no energy in me now to inject zeal in my words and sentences. If u manage to fall asleep .. haaa .. i dunno la. wad else more can i say ... erm dun drool ? my lameness will nvr fail even though i am tired =) Ty ty ... jaa good night gentlements and ladies
