Service Learning : Saints with a Heart   Today is our college service learning day. Well basically, we have 9 classes .. split in to 2 grps : A group i/c of  housekeeping .and a group i/c of distibuting can-food. Our class was i/c of distributing can foood. WE've like a total of 2 hundred over can food packets to distribute to the residents of Redhill and Telok Blangah. From what i've learnt, the residents are usually very very poor, or old needy unemployed folks in the block.   So the day begin! with sorting and packing of goodie bag from the various boxes of can food which we have packed up and transported to Rani MAs Comunity Centre Earlier. Each goody bag contians 6 different can food + one packet of dry noodle. Well, the can foods are donated by Saints and some teachers from our college. We've found very expensive items like ... abalone and erm ya chicken essence ... a few exp items. One of my frens .. erm haa wrap masking tape around the abalone can food ...

Weekend Connection [ Church Service ] Haiz .. very disappointed. Joel, marc, me , dawn and shuting. Well we did what we can to invite our class to today's Church service. Wrote cards, prayed, fast, gathered prayer. And still .............. none responded. Well i dunno what to say. I feel really angry. Really fustrated. Really disappointed. But what can i be angry against? What can i do now ? "They reap what they have not laboured. We reap what they have sowed" is the only comforting verse in my mind now. that song was adapted from the college hymn. I jsut hope somethign good come out of all of this. Even in service, i feel so lost. Tat's b'cos i am ushering and i report in late ... actually after the service has started. reason: 'cos i hhave to make a trip to Chua's place to get his leather shoes. Service 3 which i am attending required ushers to wear formally. Haiz ... i feel totally lost thru-out the service and its like i feel like i am not suppose...

Chinatown Food !!! Today is yum yum food day. But b4 that i have to starve ... for wad ??? not telling .... =P for god's kingdom to come and will be done ... lol i can see most of my non-christian friends frowning from here ... okok nvm ... back to the subject ... today is yum yum food day cos i tasted good food from Chinatown. Yupz ... well though i stay very near chinatown .. haa i amd abti food-idiot down here. Dunno where to get good food. But i just discovered some stalls selling good food! I revived the fire of sweet taste in my taste buds today ... =D haa stupid expression but nice enuff to describe .... Really i ate Thai pineapple rice today,. HAa actually the last time i ate was at city hall ... 1 or 2 months ago ... and since then i've been craving for Thai pineapple rice AND MEN... i got to eat today . whahahah ... chomp chomp chomp..... Next i ate Red bean peanut dessert. It was another great yum yum food. Excellent taste-bud pleaser. haa .. .really gotta tr...

Implication of the cartoon below : Hmmmmm good question qing yingz :) ... after a few micro seconds of thoughts ... this is what i tink it basically says:   There are alot of times where we try to find god, seek him .. or maybe just trying to know if there is such a God that exist, we look everywhere in this world. Or even like the cartoon even to the extent of stars and celestial bodies in Space. Never did we realise that god is so close to everyone of us ... and the paradox is on how he can be soo close to every single one ... every single being .. on Earth. Well don't try to understand that cos basically, our knowledge is limited. What i do understand that is, to find God, look into your life .. your heart .. see how your life has been change over the years after you have an intimate relationship with god. If you don't have that relationship, then i guess you have to learn to start one and see it for yrself.

Rapture :  SAJC Dance Concert Well its a very buzy day 4 m3 =P ... no kidding .. i am supposed to meet 5 grps of people today ! My cell group, my current S53 class mates, my 1st 3 months ex-S53 classmates, a little friend of mine from sec sch ... and Yihui's friends. O_o. Ha very buzy la .. Have 2 help yihui pass hsi tickets to his 11 friends and collect money from them. At the start, i only met with my cell members. We were eating at macdonald ... and soon found out that time is running out [ only 15 mins to get there.] ANd yaaa haha yihui's friend keep calling me to ask me where am i : ... so we rushed down to the theatre and i started looking for yihui's friend. Well i met 8 out of his 11 friends and got to pass them the tix :) ... Den went up to watch the show. The show was awesome! We were sittign right at the back and i couldn't really see my friends : Dawn, Vivian , and Niger on the stage. There were quite alot of comtemplory dance. What can u expect there? Ch...

College : Student Council Stepping down ceremony I was like wow ... the video presentation in the hall really strike the saints, me of course of all the things and fun council had in the past. I couldn't help wondering the days where i took part in the student council election ... but unfortunately din get past .. must be my face .. Back to context : After the video, there was a very nich .. and very solemn presentation of the student council leaders in our school. As the council walk up 2 by 2's to the front of the hall, they place objects that they have used/received ... items which i supposed that is most memorable to them on an OHP projector thingy .. The projector can project 3D coloured objects. .. dunno wad u call that machine .. and slowly .. 2 by 2 they came ... photographs ... key chains, cards, diaries, neo prints, used packet milked drink ... egg beater ... all their memories .. they leave on the projecting screen. Soon the items grew and overflow .. the pile ...

My 1st day in Usher I just joined USher !!!! Well maybe i shld xplain for the benefit of my non-christian friends :) Usher ministry is one of the many ministries of our Church. Well how many minitries are there .. u might ask :P .. Well we have security, choir, backup vocalist, community outreach, tuition, dance, Ministry of the Terminally-ill, Book Store, the list is endless ... haaa .. and i join one of the simplest church ministry which does not have much age and other requirements ... Well, i must say in my 1st day .. it was pretty interesting. B4 church service starts, the usher has to do a coouple of things. One of which includes inserting and sorting out leaflets in a bulletin. Well there was quite a delay at 1st b'cos i tink our section IC was kinda late but anyway when we begin ... we work at an efficient speed. There are quite a number of leaflets to put in the bulletin ... and the interesting part is ... we were suddenly told we have 15 mins to complete 700 bull...

Spiderman Spiderman ... where are you spiderman Hey hey hey .. i just finished my block test ... men i tink i am going to fail alot of suibjects. Ihave to buck up le! Haiz now we have holiday till Monday. Spiderman 2 is very nice. I would say abit much better than spiderman 1. I would say dat most of the time .. how good a movie turns out to be will depend on the atmposphere of the crowd. And thankfully the atmosphere was cool. All the laughphable parts in the movie has receive their due credits .. in the cinema hall that is. Well to me .. this movie has humour + action + cool Cgi graphics of spiderman swinging + a few inspiring touching moments .... well what more can u ask? Haaa ... one particular friend of mine was kinda unhappy when we bought spiderman tix for her .. by accident :P [not my fault] and den she looks like the world is fallling apart b4 the show [--]'. But ar ... thru-out the show .. u can hear her laughing away at certain parts. ANd oh men .. haaa one of...
