3merge Conference ............

For the past 3 days .. tuesday, wednesday and thursday, i've been real blessed by a conference i attended in my church. Well i've been for all 3 days ... waking up as early as 7 am in the 1st 2 days ... to rush to My church at Jurong West to start queuing for seats. I must thank Sister Janet for waking up earlier to queue =). For every morning and night sesion, we have to queue like 2-3 hours earlier .. before the doo to the auditorium is open. Andi can tell u ... Sinaporeans is as Kiasua as ever. I heard from my friend that on the last day, which is yesterday, the 1st guy started queuing at 1230, when the door opens at 0715 !!! .. That was like 6 hrs and 45 mins of waiting. no life men tis pple ... haha :P

I started queueing at around 1545 yesterday, about 3 hours before the gate is open. Haha, i suffered alotta leg cramps .. co's we were so squeezed together .. when we sat down waiting. Due to the terrible boredom of waiting for 3 hrs.. we started playing games like 7 *up* and *Ji Go Ba*. Hha .. i am stil de champ in this game >> Ji go ba !! (" )y ha .. ii used to win every game during my primary school days. And so we play games .. listen to music .. talk crap ... read newsweek magazine .. b4 finally the door open .. and the crowd rush down to the auditorium.

It was reaaaallll packed. So packed that we might have to sit on the stairs. Eventually we found seats all the way at the back. The 2nd last row. T_T * sooo far behind! * But prasie the lord , somehow my cell grp leader and de ushes in my cell grp managed to get seats at the 5th row from the FRONT !!! =D. So how bless can a man be tonight? .. i mean that night ... yesterday night ... it was awesome men. I am so close to the stage

Btw, if u haven't been to our church ... and u noe nothing much abt it ... here are some cool info abt my church and abt tis emerge conference:
1) 3merge conference is dedicated to youths age 25 and below (i am not quite sure abt age limit .. somewhere around there)
2) Our auditorium is underground ... Basement 4
3) Our auditorium is kinda huge. Very huge ... haha dunno the statistics .. okok

4) Largest Sound Console in the World
Mr. Steven Le Roux, the sound and lighting consultant of the Sydney Opera House, provided consultancy services to City Harvest Church with relation to acoustics of the main sanctuary. The auditorium is fitted with a 60-channel sound console, which is the largest and only one of its size in the world

And alot ore la ..i dun wanna blabber so much abt it ... but from this .. ucan see our service not so ordinary ... IT is liek osme people say .. a rock concert.
Actually i dun really think the regular church meeting is like a rock concert ... until yesterday ...

We sang an award winning Song by J-neration(band's from CHC) which really brings up the atmosphere into those rock concerts alike. it's Sooooo fun ... and soo heart-warming .. that i tell - u i was so moved and inspired to see revival in my class. Though through - out the 3 days i suffered from sore throats and headaches .. the amazing thing is .. once u r down there ... u dun feel sick at all.. u feel so pumped up ... and u gotta release it all. IT was Good ... Awesome .. Sensational ... unbelievable. I met one of my long lost fren from sec sch there too .. at emerge. Actually haven seen him for abt 3 or 4 yrs only la... but haha goood to see him again. He told me lost his specs while jumping and praising god. Well .. haha he looks much cuter without specs ... :P ... Anyway ... Pray for ME !!!!@#$@#$ My sorethroat !!!! ACtually i tink its getting better. Thanks to Joel's "PI PA GAO" =D
